Is there any in-universe rationalisation for why Holdo needed to pilot the Raddus while the rebels escaped to Crait, and why she couldn't just instruct a droid to do it? In The Clone Wars we saw droids were capable of hijacking and piloting a Venator-class star destroyer, and surely any piloting that Holdo can do on her own could be done by a droid?

Was the Grand Army of the Republic the only Clone army in Star Wars History, or has there been other occurences throughout legends history? The Kaminoans must've been doing something prior to 32 BBY when Sifo-Dyas placed the order.

As far as I know it was the only clone army. But Kaminoans did clone other things throughout history, and they charged a lot for it haha
