Hi there. when looking back at episode 2 the clone wars I noticed that when the jedi, anikan, padme and obi-wan come to rescue from the arena on genosis they suddenly have two spare lightsabers with them? Do they have those in stock at the Jedi Temple?

Do you think that the effectiveness of the Rule of Two is that the apprentice is always trying to kill the master so it keeps him on his toes, hence why each generation of Sith is more powerful?
