For Dan - Sounds like leather jackets, were the same in a new build house the last few years and this time of year get over 10 a day coming in the kitchen window. Look into what Nematode treatment will suit your lawn best 👍

Daddy long legs are also called crane flies. Their larvae are called leatherjackets. That’s probably now in Dan’s lawn.

Dan, as others have mentioned, definitely look into leatherjackets, as they can seriously mess up your lawn! I've never had much success with nematodes as a treatment, doesn't seem to do much for me. However, I'd highly recommend giving PredatorTurf a try (you can get it on eBay). It forces the leatherjackets up to the surface, where they either dry out or get snapped up by the birds. It's worked wonders for my lawn, so definitely worth a look!

I thought the same about the mobile scooters, but after walking around with my mum on one after her hip operation gave a totally different perspective. It's so hard to get around having to look for drop curbs etc. Next HAW special, each of you take a disability (blind, deaf, Harrism, no legs etc) and see how difficult living a normal day is.
