Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck - UPDATE! (Patreon)

Hello awesome people!

Here we are with the first official graphic for the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Waifus Deck! Thanks to the poll and all your precious suggestions, I think we’ve found the best possible solution!

A few things to clarify:

• The cards size will be 63 x 88 mm instead of the official 59 x 86 mm format. This is due to the printing platform I’m using, which doesn’t offer the exact original size. But it’s also a conscious choice, since I want this deck to match the size of our other decks. After all, this isn’t an official series but our personal, special collection!

• I completely reworked the card layout and graphic elements. I kept the serial code in the bottom left corner and used the same Yu-Gi-Oh! font, but resized it to improve readability.I also added a white outline to some text for the same reason. My print quality can’t compete with official card games, so I’ve learned over the years that improving readability is essential. I’ve tested this a lot!

• As many of you suggested, I kept the box frame fully visible and made only the inside of the box semi-transparent. I think this solution looks much cooler while still keeping that recognizable structure.Keep in mind this is still a low resolution version I am posting around, not the high resolution version I will use for the print!

What do you think about it?I really hope you like the direction we’re taking! ^__^PATREON GALLERYDECK GALLERY / KO-FI SHOP
