The Last Angel: The Hungry Stars, Chapter 23 (Patreon)

Hey there! A big thank you once again to all my patrons, those who’ve been with me and those newly joined. This is the third update for the month, a new chapter of The Hungry Stars. This has a scene I’ve been tinkering with and re-drafting since, well, since Ascension.It’s gone through several revisions, so I hope it works. The entire arc on Nibiru is something I’ve been redrafting a lot, trying to strike a balance between optimism and ‘waaaait a second’. With this chapter, I think we can safely say we’ve moved into the latter and this is no longer a diplomatic mission with some information-gathering. Now, we’ll move onto espionage.
