It's here! This one functions a bit more like a lecture rather than the usual production tutorials but it's something I get asked about A LOT and something I'm super passionate about in my music career.

This video goes into everything that I believe makes a strong signature sound and walks you through how to start developing your own to take your music to the next level. It also includes examples and analysis of artists that I think have some of the strongest and most unique identities within the dubstep scene today: Xilent, Eptic, Au5, Fox Stevenson, Oliverse, Ace Aura, Teminite, Eliminate, Franky Nuts & Voltra.

I hope it helps you with your development and as always feel free to drop any questions you may have below 👇

For me I would love to hear about your journey as a producer.. the work you've put in, the set backs, the mistakes, the good times, the funny times, when you started making a name for yourself... did you know it was happening? Did it happen all of a sudden? Etc.. And also more about what you think in terms of habbits, what a producer should be focusing on, how many hours, marketing vs producing time, how to market yourself? Just sort of advice you would give to yourself if you could talk to yourself all those years ago sort of thing. The how to make tutorials are super helpful and enjoyable but there is so much more to being a producer/ artist and I would love to hear about the other stuff 🙂

Incredible breakdown of all of theses artists. Thanks for putting the time into this video.

Great suggestions here! I guess a “story time” series of vids would be good to give some insight into how the industry works and my specific experiences. In terms of producer habits, I guess I could make a video documenting every aspect of my job as a producer and how I spend my time day-to-day
