The 2nd Mega-Collab Begins! (Patreon)

Hey folks. After the success of our first mega-collab "Constellate", it's time to start the next tune by Chime & The Wind Elementals!

As some of you may already know, we'll be building on top of the "Hyperbeam" ID that's been floating around since my 2020 ID showcase. Turns out I basically haven't gotten any further on this idea since then so I thought it'd be a great candidate for us all to work on together.

Our first session will be this Friday at 8pm GMT / 3pm EST / 12pm PST on the Patreon-exclusive channels in the Rushdown Discord. If you're new to these mega-collabs you can join my stream at "mega-collab-stream" and both chat and send files through "#mega-collab-chat" and "#mega-collab-files" in order to participate. I'll be streaming for about 2 hours for this initial session so feel free to join a bit later if you need to.

Grab the stems and get to work on whatever you'd like to contribute! With the title "Hyperbeam", the track will be based on the Pokémon move of the same name which requires a turn of recharging after use. The drop idea is built with this in mind. I'm thinking a chiptune / Pokémon battle-inspired theme would be awesome so if you guys pull that off in your ideas they'll more than likely be included in the final track. Either way, just like "Constellate" I'll be trying to include contributions from every participant as equally as possible.

Here's the info for the stems: 150bpm / F minor

This time I thought I'd make the stems available to everyone in the Whirlwind tier too - if you'd like participate make sure to upgrade to Hurricane tier to unlock the Discord channels for the collab before Friday though!

See you all soon 🥳
