Also there is the innocent tartan rag! And I gotta ask - is rag the correct word? I've been googling for 15 min and it's the only translation that makes sense. My German butt is confused because I genuinely cannot remember if I have ever seen the word used for something you clean dishes/objects with??? Are we Germans the only people who use a "Lappen" and everyone else just says "sponge"??????
