Which is unfortunate. The plan is that, if Patreon does go belly up (hopefully it won't come to that), I will at some point post where I'm next setting up in the news section at my website bombtehsite.net. I would hope that my patrons would somehow find me. It would be one HELL of a set back, but hopefully we could work through it.

Is it some new policy Patreon is placing?

Might be a kind of oldschool solution, but maybe set up something like a mailing list? You can use it as sort of a backup for sending news through Patreon, and if they do end up shutting down in the future, you can just swap to the mailing list til you find a new site (or stick with your existing site).

I heard Subscribestar or Pixiv Fanbox might be some options

how hard would it be to just set up a pay/donate botton that is with paypal from your site. just like your games are but when you donate your get a link/password to download X=games and every month just change the password. other then that I guess your need a blog?? or a something, Discord.

By your suggestion, setting up a donate button itself is easy. Everything after that though...not as straight forward.

Omg so what will happen? We need to change to other sites for subscription?
