V0.18 Progress Update 17/07/26 (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to tell you a little about what will happen in v0.18, hopefully without spoiling anything (I know some people prefer to go in completely blind).

By now, it's probably clear that we are heading towards a confrontation with Harry. The v0.18 update will bring the antagonist storyline to its climactic conclusion, so you can expect some action, some high-stakes drama, and the scene from which the current quit screen is taken.

This also marks the end of the story's buildup. From v0.19 onwards, the focus shifts to the payoff, with the romances and the characters' personal journeys becoming the heart of the story as they build towards the emotional climaxes for your chosen love interest and the MC.

For Hillside, and for me personally, this is an important milestone. It's the point where all of that buildup starts to deliver on its promise.

As you can see from the progress report, I'm currently working on the story, refining the details of what happens. That will be finished shortly and I'll move straight on to writing the script.

Normally, I'd start posting the weekly previews as soon as possible, but this time I'm worried about spoiling too much of the story by posting too many. So there won't be any previews next week. I'll begin posting them regularly the following week, starting on 31st July.
