Walt's plane crash speech is a masterpiece of cringe. It made me cringe, laugh, and feel sad at the same time. The writing in this show is just incredible.

I'm still not entirely sure what the opening scene (the people crawling on the ground) is about. I always assumed it was some sort of Mexican prayer ritual.

The "Cousins" were crawling on their stomachs in the start the show were showing respect to "La Santa Muerte". She's a spiritual icon for some drug Cartels.. Glad to see BB back in the rotation. Take care fun react

It's foreshadowing. If I say anything more, I'm a spoiler, but--- well--- the key word is "crawling"...

Over time, that surreal opening sequence has become one of my favorite in "Breaking Bad"--- because it does such a great job of leaving every viewer hanging and wondering "What was THAT all about?" The purpose of it, in relation to the new characters, only becomes clear much much later (no spoilers!) in one of the show's great "Oh, THAT'S what that was all about!" reveals...

La Baanga

You mentioned him copying Krazy 8's sandwich style, but this is the first time watching where I realized he also likely copied his goatee from Jane's dad, who to him at the time was still just that chill guy he enjoyed chatting with in the bar. Two lives destroyed. Two characteristics absorbed. Kind of creepy when you think about it.
