The Hollow Men

Boyd explains to Caroline that he knows she is special because they have tested her blood. He coerces her to join the Dollhouse, under the pretence that if she doesn't comply she will go to prison or be given the death sentence.

There is one major major inconsistency I have spotted this time around about Boyd. Boyd gets silly during the drug outbreak at the college episode where the Dolls don't get impacted by...so, was it an act or real? I think this is one of those retcon things and makes it hard to fit into the first season and a reveal that suffers the cancellation/short life of this show.

I know your comment was posted a year ago. Based on this episode, did you think Boyd was a doll because Topher was able to use that device on him? I think it wasn't the doll incapacitator (whatever Topher called it, I can't recall), I think it was the doll creating device that they mentioned previously, where they could just imprint anyone regardless of them being a doll or not.
