Hey guys, As you may know Forrest Gump won the poll but since this Month's pick for genre was Comedy and according to a lot of you Forest Gump is more of a drama. I decided to stay true to this Month's genre pick and go with The princess bride that came second ''According to Wiki In 2000, readers of Total Film magazine voted The Princess Bride the 38th greatest comedy film of all time''

Forest Gump will be in the next Drama poll.

Good call Sophie. The princess bride is a great comedy why people believe Forrest Gump is a comedy is inconceivable. watch the Princess bride you’ll get it get it.

Since it won a poll, I think you should watch it for your next drama instead of making another poll it has to go through.

I love both movies and would have been excited for either reaction. It is true Forrest Gump isn't a comedy, though, so it didn't really fit the theme. Very much looking forward to The Princess Bride!

Forrest gump is labeled a Comedy /Romance . It's just a good movie . So the emotions hit. But Forrest Gump is a laugh all the way through. Saying it's not a comedy just wrong . Forgetting Sarah Marshall he sad but it's still a great comedy. I just have to make the correction . The facts are just that. I was inn school when people was telling all the funny jokes from the movie . Definitely a comedy. It being labeled a comedy an people saying it's not a comedy just not factual.

Thank you SoFie. I think you made the right decision. If you ever do watch Forrest Gump in the future, you will completely understand why most people would never categorize that movie as a comedy.

I'm on the side of Forrest Gump not being a comedy. However, polls aside, I would say that Forrest Gump and The Princess Bride are must watch movies. I'd vote for you to do both of them at some point.

Love both movies but in my opinion, TPB is comedy and FG is drama and this makes sense to me. 😅

I'd say that Forrest Gump is a drama-comedy, but leaning toward drama. It's a wonderful movie that I'm sure you'll love, but it definitely has heavier themes than the average comedy. The Princess Bride on the other hand is a pure delight. I'm happy either way!

Maybe it would be fair to re-poll the comedy movie, since the 128 people who voted for Forrest Gump might have chosen another comedy over The Princess Bride if Forrest Gump were not on the poll, and it might have won instead.

I mean you can still have drama in a comedy but I get it...both movies are great.
