What a perfect ending! 🥲 You often point out things I never caught before, like Zuko’s lightning scar mirroring Aang’s. Unfortunately, the Zuko’s mom plotline is not explored in the Legend of Korra. To find out what happened, you need to read an Avatar comic book called “The Search”. Fortunately, it’s still for sale; it costs $16 as a paperback and $15 as a Kindle book on Amazon: https://a.co/d/iqSKbNs Everything the Gaang does after the end of the show is in the comics. (Korra is the Avatar after Aang, so her series takes place a long time after this one.)

Such a great finale, and I loved your reaction as always. Definitely looking forward to seeing you watch Korra. It's very different in some ways, and I'm sure you'll get mixed opinions from everyone, but in my opinion it's just as amazing and in some ways even better than Avatar. Can't wait.

Great reaction! Glad you enjoyed the show. The cliffhanger about Zukos mom does suck but it was kind of put in to push fans to read the comics. All questions about Zukos mom are answered in the comics which are really good In my opinion not a very long read if you're interested in reading them yourself.

Yeah, I agree. The comics are great. I especially love the first story which focusses on the aftermath of the war and is very sucessful to show that ending the war isn't enough - you can't just go back to how things were before it. The land and people have changed and need healing and have to move forward instead of going back. I really like that.

The initial plan was to make the story of Zukos mom into a TV movie I think. But it fell through w/ Nickelodeon, so it ended up in the comics.

The story of Zukos mother is told in a graphic novel named "The Search". Someone posted the link to buy it on amazon, its totally worth it. (Tho.. if you just search "Avatar The search read online" on google, you will find scans of it for free in 2 seconds lololol)

I am really surprised we don't have Legend of Korra yet. I really think Sofie would very much enjoy it for the expanded lore and world building, revisiting beloved characters, the awesome humor/comedy and the sprinkle of teen romance drama thrown on top of it. It's made for you Sophie - You should really consider it. 🤭
