The last scene hits so different now and Holly’s act was amazing. How she didn’t win an award for it I’ll never know.

I see you finally boarded the "We Love Holly/Piper" train, welcome! lol Yes, Holly's acting is stellar, and she's just getting started..

This episode always get me teary eyed for the same reasons you mentioned. Great acting on Holly´s part. Love your reaction as always.

I don't know if Cole knew Piper would turn into a Fury, he just saw the claws and knew the Fury had breathed on her and put it together. That's how I always took it anyway

I think the reason why Paige's spells weren't backfiring was because she technically wasn't casting them for herself. She was helping other people and that was it. Plus I think the general rule is as long as your life isn't significantly improved then you may get a pass (Piper freezing people or Prue's telekinesis didn't change too much about their day to day). Paige didn't get punished until she cast a spell for revenge and thus broke the Wiccan Rede about not punishing the guilty. It's one reason I think she's so great; she gets these phenomenal powers and her first instinct isn't "how can I play with them?" But instead "how can I improve the lives of others?" which I don't think would be super common. Even her one 'selfish' spell was against a guy that kinda had it coming but it wasn't magics place to judge him.

While I hate that Shannen had to leave the show, especially now that we know the circumstances, I did appreciate that they didn't just sweep her character's death under the rug and keep it moving. And in these first few episodes, Holly's acting is on-point bc she is literally grieving Shannen's presence on the show.
