"This was how people googled stuff" when people are just looking things up in a book is probably the oldest I've felt in awhile, and we're probably around the same age lol I do enjoy a good Chandler and Rachel episode. I'm a complete freak but I kinda ship their dynamic. Joey's big heart is one of the best consistent qualities about the show. I feel like all the other main characters had defined archetype roles since the pilot, but Joey was the most unfleshed and a lot different in the beginning. He used to dress up kind of like you'd think a suave actor would, and they leaned more into him being a shallow douche bag. He still has that, especially he can be a huge player with women, but over time he started dressing like a regular New York guy and fell into himbo with heart of goal role, and it suits him much more than "cool guy in leather."

I agree with you, Chandler does look great this season. His and Rachel’s scenes together are so underrated and they only get better over the next few seasons. Joey has such a heart of gold. Even though he can be a bit of a womanizer/player, at his core he is so sweet, kind, and loyal to his friends.

It's always a big thing people asking all over how they afforded this apartment while the answer was always stated in this episode: it's a rent-controlled apartment that used to belong to Monica's grandma.

Lol, that's true. But I always chalk it up to her being a very aggressive, savvy person who's had to make some decicions that may not be savoury to survive and we may not know how many pies (unconventional or otherwise) she's had her fingers in. For example, various types of phone operators at some point etc, (trying to stay spoiler free for Sophie). But the point is, all through the show she makes off-hand comments that allude to her being somewhat involved in many hustles...before she got a stable-ish job in the later seasons. But yours is a good question :).

I HATE Phoebe's story in this episode. It's literally just her sexually assaulting her client played for laughs. I always hate those stories in sitcoms...

In the S3 flashback episode Monica also was telling Joey that she is living in the apt. under her grandmother’s lease, otherwise she could never afford it. “So if the landlord ever asks, I’m an 87 year old woman who’s afraid of her VCR.” Of course, Joey is stripping down naked at that moment so hardly anyone is going to be paying attention to what’s she’s saying lol

Lol Kelsey, yes she did! You made me remember. I guess since the apartment being a main plot driver for this episode is why this one stuck with me. But true, Joey stripping naked barely a minute of entering Monica's apartment took over in that S3 Episode :). All Hail Mr. Heckles for bringing our boys together :)

I told you before so you would be a little more prepared to handle how good Chandler looks lol, I cant stop looking at him, ugh :D Season 4 is def one of his best. But he does have a couple more seasons which will be Chandler's best look contenders :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Chandler hitting himself with the filing cabinet drawer was an accident and Mathew Perry didn't break character and Rachel covering her mouth was Jen hiding her laugh.

I understand that you and a lot of your followers are enthusiastic about Chandlers look. But what about Monica and Rachel ? When they are sitting at the kitchen table and talking to Joey about his dancing lessons they are looking beautiful 👍

Rachel's hair color looks amazing and the hairstyle looks good on her and Monica's short hair is one of my favorites and the thing is they look good in EVERY season but Chandler glows this season

Fun fact: the part of the episode where the drawer hits Chandler’s head is Matthew Perry actually hitting his head. It was completely unintentional and they kept it in the show! ☺️🤣
