I have no doubt that you will like season 7.

I enjoyed S7 after I stopped comparing it to the previous seasons. If it wouldve been a spinoff instead of the next season, more people would have given it a chance. The story is written really good, the villain and the mystery. anyways, I wanted to clarify that ending of the final battle when emma gets brought back to life and guideon is brought back as a baby... pay attention to what henry reads in the final page. When good and evil make the right choice. it was talking about emma believing and being the savior... at the same time as Rumple FINALLY making the right choice and not giving into darkness. both events happened at the same time, which is why they both got a second chance.

I was skeptical about s7 at first, but I ended up liking it. I think you'll like it.

I am really glad you are going to try season 7. And glad that you will probably watch the series finale even if you dont like it but I think you will probably like the whole season.

Thank you for your wonderful reactions to my favorite show. I enjoyed going on this journey with you & I’m so happy you love OUAT. I love this season finale & it always makes me cry. I know you’ve been unsure about watching S7 but glad the last scene of this episode has piqued your interest in watching S7. I agree with comments on this reaction & the previous reaction that you should give it a try. I think it’s very underrated & is a lot better than people who dislike it make it out to be. And a lot more fans consider it to be among their favorites than what someone, who left a comment in your episode 20 reaction, believes. Yes, it’s different than previous seasons but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It definitely has S1 vibes but with a different spin on it. S7 is a great way to end the show & brings it full circle, being that it’s Henry’s story. The season has a few of the main characters returning plus someone who became a main character in the last few seasons appearing in a few episodes in S7, there are a lot of new characters(some really great), & an older version of a character we’ve already met(and it’s not Henry) who is one half of a couple that became one of my favorite couples. I feel that you’ve watched it this far that it would be a disservice to the series to not watch S7. It does start out slow but it does get better(you just have to give it a chance) & I think you’ll go from not being sure about it to liking it to loving it. I can’t say that every episode is amazing but then not every episode in S1-6 were that great either but they didn’t take away anything from OUAT or keep it from being a series we all love. When you said how you loved the endings for Regina & Rumple in S6 I thought then you really need to watch S7 cause you ain’t seen nothing yet as their character development isn’t over. I know you love Hook & CaptainSwan shipper so I believe you’ll love episode 2 (it’s one of my favorites) & episode 4 is a fan favorite too. Episode 18 is really good & the the last are absolutely amazing. I know many people have said that the final scene in episode 22 is the best but just like all the previous seasons this finale is a two parter & both are a must watch & complete the series in their entirety. Also, episode 20 can’t be missed not just because it’s a great episode but it’s an integral part of not only the finale but the whole season because if the events in that episode don’t happen then what happens in the last episodes can’t happen. Episode 20 changes everything & puts everything else into motion. If you think the S6 finale is great then you’ll think S7 is an even better end to the series. I do hope you not only watch it but post your reactions to it.

Thank you for reacting to this perfect show. I am ao happy you're giving S7 a chance. See you there 😊 As for the appartment number on Henry's door, it's 815 which represents the clock tower (8:15, the exact moment time resumed in pilot episode, when Emma chose to stay in Storybrooke. You could see that time on many occasions throughout the show).

Sofie, love your reactions. 🙂 You will like Season 7. It's going to be epic!

Laure

There is also the spin off (With a totally new cast) once upon a time in wonderland who is great and short but with a good ending if you want to try it. Thanks for your reactions

Season 7 is one of my favorites and even rewatchable to me the way I wouldnt rewatch some of the other seasons such as seasons 5 and 6 for example. I think you will love it. Its not a spinoff the way for example a show like Legacies is a spinoff of the originals and the vampire diaries. Season 7 just has a time jump but is still less like a spinoff and much more like the last season of once upon a time.

Sean

Please stick with season 7 ill be honest it does get slow and drag but its worth it in the end and it sums up everything perfectly in love season 7 now season 7 is a grower and a journey but its worth it to stick it thru will make u cry and happy

Since the final image at the feast table is meant to be a rendition of The Last Supper painting with Emma as the "savior" at the center, I think the whole final battle was meant to be an allegory for Jesus sacrificing himself for humanity and rising from the dead. Emma let Gideon kill her to save him and through her sacrifice he was cleansed of sin and reborn, and she was resurrected. I agree that it wasn't done or explained well. I love the finale but this part kind of flopped for me too lol. She wasn't cursed when Henry woke her, but Henry was technically dead when Emma kissed him in season one and brought him back, so I think they were just paralleling that. This is the best explanation I have anyway. It's the only way I can make sense of Gideon being made "innocent" again through her sacrifice.

Okay well now that I know you're actually interested, I'm definitley voting team s7 if the option arises. My only issue with season 7 is that it didn't come sooner lol, you notice it in the repetitive decisions the characters make this season and last that this cast of characters was kind of dragging. Eveything you like about these seasons defintiley shows up in the next, and if your concern was pacing then from memory that also switches up too.

I can’t wait for your reaction to Season 7 because you gonna like it
