That is a very skeevy song😅

"It don't change what you are" is peak level hypocrisy for someone developing Homelander-adjacent powers, even temporarily. I do enjoy their parallels. I gotta admit the end of this episode is one of my favorites. I appreciate a good crash out. Hilarious that Starlight announcing that he was donating to her charity was the last straw. I agree that for someone as smart as Stan Edgar, he really was way too comfortable pushing and pushing a clearly on the verge of a breakdown Homelander. There's really no way to know with someone that mentally unstable and powerful when self-preservation of his image is no longer enough to stop him from snapping the way he does here. I'd say they're lucky that all he did was verbally go off. I think Monique's boyfriend (who I cannot stand) represents a lot of redpilled/manosphere men, who aren't exactly tough guys and desperately want to "reclaim" their masculinity via strongman figures like Homelander. As a geek, I think it's cool that while the Seven are kind of based on the Justice League (DC's main superhero team led by Superman), Payback seems to be based on the Avengers (Marvel's main superhero team led by Captain America who Soldier Boy is clearly patterned after). Crimson Countess seems to be a take on the Scarlet Witch, Gunpowder would be Bucky etc. Also, Gunpowder's precision with bullets is one of the coolest powers I've seen on this show.

You noticed it for a second but that kid Teddy Stillwell at the orphanage is Madelyn's kid.

Explains how he survived the explosion too since it was weird thinking Homelander gave a crap lol

Hi Sofie, great reaction!! I'm not sure if anyone has told you, but after s3 of The Boys, you're supposed to watch Gen-V as that is a spinoff to The Boys, and you have to watch s1 of that show in order to watch s4 of The Boys

Hi Sofie, I recommend you watch Gen V after Season 3 of The Boys, then watch Season 4 of The Boys, and then Season 2 of Gen V in that order. A lot of things get explained in Gen V that are relevant to S4 of The Boys, and Gen V Season 2 is basically a prequel to the upcoming S5 of The Boys.
