I knew your reaction to Chandler & Monica was going to be epic 😆. As far as the one tree hill reference I mentioned in the chat about how in s5 they spoil a part of the friends s4 finale. It’s when Skills says “hey maybe Luke will say the wrong name at the altar like Ross did in ‘friends’.” It’s been a few yrs since sofie watched oth so she may have not remembered that quick interaction but if she did that would’ve been a big spoiler for her!

49:39 yes! That's why althought Rachel wanting and going to tell Ross that she's still loved her was complety wrong. The wedding was going to be ruined anyway. 1 - It's too rushed liked you said, cleary you could see that Ross was using it as an form of not losing Emily like he did it Rachel, because some part of him thinks that Rachel's job was the thing that pushed them away from each other. And in his mind the fact that Emily needed to go back to London would mean that the distance could alsoe affect them too. And 2 - It's like you said "It was ALWAYS Rachel for Ross since high school" It's pretty hard to ignore this, also in the Friends book written by the creators of the show they wrote that Rachel represents that life that Ross always pictured himself for and what he always wanted. So yeah, even if Rachel didn't come he still would mess it up. Because Rachel was still in the back of his mind and he was visualizing that with her not with Emily, which only confirms with everybody's knows (like Phoebe said) Ross didn't quite moved on from Rachel, I don't think that he's in love but maybe there's a part of him that still holding on onto her and that relationship.

Chandler and Monica in this finally is simply iconic. It's like you said they always was something more, but since It never went to something we kinda would never expect something out of it. But they finally made it!! AND THE CHEMISTRY!! AND THEIR DEVELOPEMENT?! AMAZING. 💯🔥 it can only become better than this at this point I believe.

The first time I watched Friends, I was totally oblivious to all the Chandler-Monica hints the creators threw out, but after watching Sofie point those moments out in her reactions, I wonder how I could have ever missed them. This is it guys. We finally made it 😁. The moment we've all been waiting for ;) Okay, first off, Sofie: the crazy thing you have to realize is for most of us, this was literally an out of the blue, SHOCK, for this to happen. So the fact that you actually saw it, from like 3 seasons earlier, and have been shipping them for soo long, has been maddeningly hilarious, for us to see. Your ability for precognition is beyond any other reactor I've yet seen - and the fact that you predicted THIS, from so long ago, is just crazy 😆. I don't think most people *ever* saw Chandler and Monica hooking up - and yet you could totally see their chemistry from the get-go (and have even pointed out tons of moments I never even noticed, between them). I also genuinely think the writers did not plan this from the beginning, or intentionally leave any sort of "clues" to them doing this - I think their chemistry was just so obvious together as characters, that it made logical sense for it to eventually happen :D Also - we've all been literally waiting for this moment (and I'm honestly shocked and impressed at how well your community kept the secret from you - even in the *YouTube* comments) for so long - and your reaction to it DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT., whatsoever!! It was so much fun knowing this moment was coming up, and seeing your genuine reaction of shock and happiness, when you saw it 😁☺️

Yeah Rachel and Ross is cute and whatever (I get it but I also never really cared that much lol) but this is the one most of us had been waiting for since you took a liking to Monica and Chandler. FRIENDS was mostly relaxed viewing for me when it was on the air (as opposed to the nerdy insights I always had about a show like Buffy even when I was a kid), so tbh I missed most of the context clues and foreshadowing in the early seasons leading to this hookup. Watching you react I had a lot of "how tf did I miss all that" moments. I think that while Monica being mopey about being single was kind of obvious in this episode, Chandler also had a more general bad moodiness that I think can be attributed to similar feelings even though I don't think it was mentioned that that's why he was being such a pain to Joey. Monica and Chandler look really, really good together in the wedding scene (poor Emily though), and I love all the defensiveness when the other is mentioned, and the hurried agreement to do it again. I also gotta say that as a standup comedian it was painful for me to watch Chandler bomb like that in front of stuffy old people. Too relatable. And Emily's dad's deadpan way he said he never should have married the stepmom lmao.

She doesn't look like the singer from the Black Eyed Peas... 🤔" 😆. And I think I read some trivia article or comment somewhere, that pointed out Richard Branson (CEO and founder of all the 'Virgin' companies, for anyone who doesn't know), as the tourist trinket seller 😁

I do think her presence changed it, but I also think that if Ross can’t see someone without saying their name at the most important moment of their lives, than he isn’t over Rachel and shouldn’t be getting married. That shouldn’t have messed him up, but it did. Great reaction!!

that is also true. But Rachel didn't know that and she showed up for selfish reasons. She realized that she was still in love with him. Ross on the other hand did this by accident, he was convinced himself that he loved and wanted to marry Emily, so I can excuse that a little bit. However this should not have happened at the wedding. Emily doesn't deserve this at all. And Rachel should not have come.

That was my first thought immediately she said that! I was like "you are the one who has been in on this like white on rice since day 1!" lol. I guess its just the shock of it actually being actualized. Though she actually said deep down even though she hoped, she didn't think it would get here, or this fast. She kept flipping the images from between them talking, the nightime skyline and Ross coming in Chandler's room as though she had missed the story of how they got here ;)

So they actually mentioned the whole Ross saying Rachel's name at the wedding in One Tree Hill. When Skills is talking to Peyton before Lucas' wedding to Lindsey, he "jokes" that maybe Lucas will say Peyton's name instead of Lindsey's like Ross in Friends. I remember you watching that scene and worrying about spoilers! 🤣 Monica and Chandler. They never actually planned it. All those moments with them throughout the show weren't supposed to be hints towards them getting together or foreshadowing or anything. They just turned out to have the perfect chemistry. We've all been waiting for this episode since you started the show, but especially since you started shipping them. 🤣

Rachel was invited and even emotionally pressured to come by Ross. And he was SO happy she came. Yes, maybe her coming was partly responsible for the slip-up. Maybe he would have said her name even if she stayed in New York. Or maybe he would have said Emily and then slip up their names in another most inconvient time, which would have been just as bad or even worse. But whatever Rachel's initial intentions were, her decision to only congratulate was actually one of the most selfless thing she has done thus far. They both showed they loved each other, Rachel, first by wanting to confess and then by making the mature sacrifice, and Ross by screwing up his own wedding because he clearly was not over Rachel.

Loved your reaction to THE scene, it is what all fans felt who watched that scene for the first time...😍 What do you mean by "Why did they do it?"? I think it is pretty obvious why they did it...😊 Some fun facts: All the London episodes were actually shot in London. Not only the street scenes, but also all interior shots. They rented a british studio lot and filmed the episodes in front of a british live audience. The only exceptions were the Phoebe and Rachel scenes, which they filmed afterwards when they were back in L.A.. Lisa Kudrow was the only cast member who couldn't fly to London because she was pregnant in real life a the time. It is highly unusual for a US sitcom production to film more than they absolutely have to abroad, for budget reasons, but they went all in and moved their whole entourage to London to film the episodes there. There are lots of cameos: The Lady meeting Joey - Sarah Ferguson, former Duchess of York, ex wife of the infamous Prince Andrew. The street vendor at the tower - Richard Branson, self-made billionaire and (amongst many other things) owner of Virgin Air. One of the I-want-to-go-space-billionaires. The man on the plane - Hugh Laurie, well known british actor and comedian at the time, later became famous outside of the UK for "House, M.D." Emilys stepmother - Jennifer Saunders, the Grand Dame of british comedy (very underused in her minor part). The people sitting behind Chandler and Joey on the city tour bus in the credit scene - Two of the three producers of friends, Martha Kaufman and Kevin Bright. My favorite line from this finale is Hugh Lauries: "And by the way, it seems perfectly clear that you were on a break!" 🤣

That has got to be the best reaction I have ever seen when it comes to the moment with Monica and Chandler. I've absolutely loved how much you have shipped them, I was the exact same way and your reaction did not disappoint. Honestly, they are one of the biggest reasons why I love this show so much. I thought it was so smart how they psyched the audience out too, they have Chandler be comforting and saying "who wouldn't want you" but then have Monica shoot it down like she has all the other times, so you think that's how this will play out too but nope, this time was different. And you made a great point that any time Monica has been down on not finding someone, it was always Chandler that was reassuring her that she would and was always supportive. What's also nice is both of them have been burned so many times in the past. I mean, Chandler has been cheated on twice and just hasn't had much luck and Monica not only was heartbroken by her break-up with Richard but has also been used and not in good relationships, like Paul in the Pilot episode or Julio. So, it always makes me happy that they finally found someone and it just so happened to be someone that was right under their nose the whole time. They've always been perfect for each other.
