I love this show! The character moments in it as well as the satire. it has a reputation for being messed up and it is but there is so much else there. Homelander almost definitely a narcissist imo, they are always extremely extremely insecure under their mask and look for constant validation, and a lot of them are born through childhood traumas. Also although I'd never say who because its never a good idea in comment sections, Homelander story is definitely an allegory to an extent on a certain someone who is pretty well known to be a narcissist. :)
