Seriously, you really are an amazing reactor. It's amazing seeing you understand these characters from the start. I know it's early to mention this, but in case you know no one told you or in the future I forget to say there are ova episode you should watch for when you're done with this season, and before starting season 2, they are like special episodes, my favorite ova is Levi's backstory which has Erwin involved too(Attack on Titan: No Regrets (OVA 4-5)), and another one I like is with Hanji (Ilse's Notebook).

Hi Sophie! I don’t know if anyone told you yet, but appart from the regular episodes, there are side ones that are called OVA’s. They are not absolutely necessary to watch to understand the show, but they help understand backgrounds, backstories, story and character depths. HOWEVER if you’re not interested in watching them, I still GREATLY recommend watching the “No regrets” ones (part one and part two) after season 1. It’s about Levi’s backstory and I think it’s extremely relevant to understand Levi’s character (and it’s so good). Now if after watching No Regrets, you decide to watch all of the OVA’s, here is how you should integrate them in your watching experience: -Attack on Titan season 1 -Ilse’s Notebook (OVA) -The Sudden Visitor (OVA) -Distress (OVA) -No Regrets Parts 1-2 (OVA)🚨 -Attack on Titan season 2 -Lost Girls Parts 1-2 (OVA) -Attack on Titan season 3, part 1 (episode 38-49) -Lost Girls: Lost in the Cruel World (OVA) -Attack on Titan season 3, part 2 (episode 50-59) -And then the rest of the show Hope this helps ☺️ thank you for your reactions. It’s refreshing to see someone actually getting the characters, the story as well as you do !

Yeah ! The others are not that good but No regrets is a no skip before season 2 !

I just want to say my appreciation for your thoughtfulness. You understand the characters and their motivations like no other! I am so happy with how much you are invested in the story and the characters. Yes they have a deepdive on Levi's character in the OVAs. I felt the same with Jean's development in just a few episodes. And yes, that's Commander "Aura" Smith!

This is why I call your channel, Book Club ♥️

Funny for some reason I never quite got the plan until now, I've seen it a few times but I never realized just what Erwin was doing until now.
