Ah yes...Gary shooting the bird and having the most abrupt exit ever lol. I really liked his character too. I liked his dynamic w/ the guys...especially Chandler lol. I'm wondering if this is around the time the actor, Michael Rappaport, got Boston Public and he asked to be written out. TBH Gunther looks so cool w/ a Sphinx cat perched on top of a red velvet pillow. Lastly, any plot that involves Ross and Phoebe on a side quest together is instantly an A tier episode for me! They are so so good together

I think shooting a bird is probably the most random hilarious breakup reason with a recurring love interest on this show. They set them up so good just for THAT to happen. Monica's intensity can be one of the scariest but also charming things about her. Also about a second before Rachel said Joey and Chandler would love this, I thought to myself "this is pretty hot." Men are the same lolol.

I love the cat storyline and all the jokes. I love cats and dogs but do better with cats. They are low maintenance but still cuddly, cute, and fun. They definitely get a bad rap sometimes. Also, I can’t believe we’re coming up on the end of S5. I remember when I was dying for you to get to the S4 finale. Your Friends reactions always give me something to look forward to each week.

I'd always be afraid to move in with someone before I was sure we at least shared the same basic values. Early engagements always make me anxious for the same reason. I once heard a guy talk about how he was engaged after knowing the woman for 5 months. He said, "if you've found the right one, whats the point in waiting?" I thought that's like 10% sweet and 90% delulu. 🙈
