I still remember when I first watched the show, episode one with Miche's death. I cried so hard, maybe I was a bit young, but I remember I got traumatized. I couldn't continue watching for a while. I don't know, his death was honestly so brutal, like dying alone slowly, and having to witness a shocking truth of a monster speaking to you. I always skip this scene, but I watched it for Sofie's reaction, and I still found it brutal. Anyway, I love how Sasha escaped the titan from crushing her by the same method with her dad in the flashback by attaching his jaw. I'm not sure if you noticed it. Also, I think why Sasha couldn't kill the titan in the nape with an axe is because it's not deep enough to kill, unlike the swords they use, so it keeps regenerating. Even though I feel bad for you being terrified in these episode your reactions are the best.

I was super hype while watching this with you. I never really appreciated Sashas episode that much, but now I was actually very into it. Everyone, even the minor characters get interesting backstories. By the way, now you can watch the OVA "Ilse's notebook". I think it's actually a very good time, then you will also understand Hange's reaction of one of the reveals of episode 3.

For me I always found the sasha 2 meter titan scene far more disturbing, I think I actually stopped watching the show for a while after that.

Sofie's reaction to these 3 eps is PEAK REACTING!! The plot twists and reveals and reactions to the violence are amazing! I can't wait for the next drops!!!!!!!

Just throwing this out there Sofie. I hope you're still considering watching the show in DUB instead; or at the very least rewatching it off camera to see the difference for yourself. I think it's pretty obvious it's just adding a layer of difficulty for you and the payoff is... non existent. It's odd to me that a group of people that were paying to be part of Patreon at the time the vote happened could hold the form of your content hostage. I truly think you would be enjoying the show even more.
