Love these two episodes!

"That's not white. It's nuclear white." lmao And yes. Ross attempting to change his appearance, which ends in disaster is VERY much in his character.

Chandler did not learn from Rachel's similar experience in season 1 when she cleaned the whole apartment, moved the green ottoman and made Monica all antsy and tense. No wonder she stopped doing that. People tend to criticize Rachel to not helping Monica more in the chores, but I feel her seeming incompetence and underfunctioning came from social adaptability - she behaved this way to keep a good relationship with Monica who loves doing things in a certain way and dislike when others do them "wrong". It'll be interesting to see if Chandler will do something similar to adapt or chooses to go a different way. It will be also interesting to see how living with Phoebe has an effect on Rachel, easing her need for conformity, social adaptability.

Janine is one of the worst characters ever 😂 BLAHHHH

The way I relate to Ross pushing his luck when a woman seems into a nerdy thing by taking it one step too far with a followup comment. One of my earliest memories of this show is Ross and his teeth glowing in the dark. Peak FRIENDS comedy imo. I feel like between Monica's comment about the medicine, and Chandler saying "I knew it!" in a past episode when Rachel tells Ross "it's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it IS a big deal!" the inference is that Chandler has ED lmao The latter scene always reads like Ross asked Rachel that question "for a friend" and Rachel thought he meant himself but he really did mean a friend. Rachel would know if Ross had that problem, I guess, but I can see Rachel thinking she's the exception. I thought way too hard about this, no pun intended.

Kenny the copy boy!

So the question is, if Ross had appeared in a Buffy episode with his ultra white teeth, would Buffy have tried to slay him? ☠️ Fun fact: Janine is played by Elle MacPherson, who was a really famous model in the 80's and 90's.
