This is just a confirmation of all the things you already know but let's establish them again. So the founding titan or the "coordinate" as Reiner called it is the Titan power Eren currently possessed. It's the most powerful of all Titan shifters as it has absolute command on all the other Titans + the power to erase the memories. But you're right, unless it's a Reiss blood that wields it, Eren cannot use it's full potential. However, great recall on the time that Eren has used that power once, when he ordered the other Titans to kill the pure Titan who killed his mother and attack Reiner. As to how he was able to do that will be explained further in the story. Regarding the Reiss' family ritual to pass down the power of the Founding titan, it's the same way as we already know. A human should be turned to a pure titan using the titan serum and once turned, he needs to eat the titan shifter to steal their power. As shown in the last episode, Rod Reiss' father was the last owner of that power then it was inherited by Uri (Rod Reiss' younger brother) then it was inherited by Frieda. The cycle would have continued hadn't Grisha stolen he founding titan from Frieda the day Wall Maria was breached. While watching your reaction, you mentioned something like why did Frieda's siblings/family didn't turn to a titan to help fight with Grisha (I'm paraphrasing) but at that point, her family are just regular humans. Only one person can inherit a titan power at a time. It cannot be inherited by multiple people in the same bloodline simultaneously. Just clarifying that just in case it confused you. On why Grish went all the trouble to steal the founding titan in the first place and have Eren eat him instead of keeping that power to himself, there is actually an explanation to all of that. It will be elaborated later on but you're on the right track Sofie. As everyone said, your mind is amazing. AOT is my favorite piece of media I have ever consumed because of the brilliant writing, the storyline, the tragic characters, the plots and the reveals, but even that, you're still too smart for ll of it.
