Just a quick update on what's next!

Peaky Blinders will be starting once I finish The Boys. As for Gen V Season 2, I've decided not to continue with it. To be honest, I don't really see the point, and I'd rather spend my time watching things I genuinely enjoy.

House of the Dragon Season 3 will be watched live as episodes are released.

I'm also planning to watch The Silence of the Lambs sometime next week, and The Dark Knight Trilogy (including Batman Begins) will be replacing Pirates of the Caribbean in the movie lineup.

I wondered if we can still get the 6th sense! It felt like there was some bots 🤖 voting in the polls and the poll voting was very close. I love following you for your friends reactions but unfortunately you don’t do many other things that I’m interested in viewing. I was excited to see 6th sense but didn’t realize it would have to go through another round of votes and get knocked out by silence of the lambs (a movie I’m not interested in) feels like I’m in the minority here among hundreds of people 😅 I’ll stick with you Sophie for your friends reactions but I would like to see 6th sense and possibly “Lost Girl” tv show it’s a supernatural show that has Buffy vibes. “Bones” and “Lost” which is different from ‘lost girl’ but would be more popular with viewers perhaps are good too. Love following and supporting and will continue but I do wish there were more things for me to watch as friends is the only thing of interest to me right now. As I’ve watched all of Buffy. And was hoping 6th sense won. I get I’m obviously not the only one here though. Just mentioning it. 🩷

Reactors should always continue shows. (Unless perhaps if they go on for like 10 seasons and become truly terrible.) For fans like me this is devastating. I was looking forward to her reactions. This is my favorite show of the past couple of years.

Idk. I'm truly sorry for you, and know I would be super sad if she decided to stop watching Friends or Charmed, for instance, but I really think a reactor should watch what they enjoy. Do you really want to watch a reactor react to a show they obviously hate and just be miserable and trash it? I don't feel like that's good for anyone. Better her move on to something else than to get burnt out.

This is not a public social media poll. Patreon is generally one of the hardest places to manipulate so there s no bots involved. Besides, the silence of the lambs won both polls. If there was a change in the poll it just means that more people started to vote or change their votes. The sixth sense will get it’s chance on the next movie thriller poll.

I completely understand being disappointed if you were looking forward to Season 2. But I don’t think reactors are obligated to finish every show they start. Reaction channels are different from TV networks we’re not producing a scheduled series under contract. The whole point is to share genuine reactions and experiences. If I’m forcing myself through something I’m not enjoying, the reactions won’t be authentic and nobody really wins. In this particular case, we’re also talking about a spin-off that was cancelled and doesn’t affect the main story of The Boys so I’d rather spend my time on shows and movies I’m genuinely excited about and give you the best content I can.

Yes I totally get being disappointed but our time is limited and I think making yourself spend hours watching something that doesn't interest you just sucks. And if you've ever sat next to someone watching something you like but they clearly don't... that sucks too lol.

Agree completely. There are shows/movies that I love, but wouldn't recommend for Sofie. An apropos example being The Silence of the Lambs. A little worried about that one.

I am really really glad to see that you can not continue a Show or a movie if you dont really enjoy it that much. Omg thats such a relief cant lie. (No offense to the fans) its not about this Show in particular, i love to watch AOT and Friends but if she didnt enjoy them i would honestly feel much worse than her actually not reacting at all. i think we would all feel that. Honestly you cant get better than this Sofie...

Fair enough. Just out of curiosity to the people who liked the original post: What didn't you like about Gen V season 2? It's literally perfect to me, I'm honestly curious why so many people didn't like it? I tried to look up some critics reviews to understand the negativity better, but they all absolutely love it. It's strange that so many people here don't like a show that has such great reviews.

That’s what I’m bummed silence of the lambs won over the 6th sense . I really don’t think she’s going to enjoy that. 6th sense was definitely seeming like more her kind of movie. Silence of the lambs is not for everybody.

I'll give my 2 cents on why I didn't care as much for Gen V. I didn't hate it by any means but I didn'treally enjoy it either. To me, the cast in The Boys is just much stronger, particularly Karl Urban as Butcher and Antony Starr as Homelander. Their performances are phenomenal and as with every spin off, every facet of Gen V is compared to it's predecessor. There's also a bit of teen/young adult over the top drama that just feels weird to be packaged with the violence of the Boys universe. Like Euphoria, the writing feels like an older generation pandering to a Gen Z audience. That mixed with the heavy handedness of the humor and the plot development made me feel like the writers thought the viewers were dumb.

My husband and I are just starting season 6 of The Mentalist 😱 I stupidly spoiled myself for a couple of the big plot lines coming up, but I’m still loving it. I’ve genuinely grown to love all of the core characters, which doesn’t always happen for me. They’re all distinct and they’re all flawed, but they’re also all lovable (imo).

I'm really looking forward to see Peaky Blinders from your perspective. Also you should react to Sherlock series if you haven't seen it yet. A short series, wouldn't take much time. Chernobyl and Band of Brothers are also short and very nice series you may consider.
