So excited for these episodes! I’m in the hospital getting over an illness and this is going to perk me right up tonight.

SidekickSteph

And this payoff is why the Elizabeth storyline is worth it. Bruce Willis here is gold, him and Ross are hilarious 😂

Kelly

The scene where Ross and Rachel have dinner with Elizabeth and her father is hilarious.

Jocelyn

someone can correct me if i’m wrong, but I believe Bruce Willis lost a bet so he had to appear in friends 🤣

Randy Giles

This was on the IMDB trivia page for this episode: "Bruce Willis agreeing to guest appear on Friends was because he lost a bet to Matthew Perry is an urban legend. People Magazine Star Spotlight 2000, 'Willis agreed to a guest stint on 'Friends' simply because he and Perry thought it would be fun.' News outlets mistakenly reported on the rumor. Willis was in fact paid for the role, including syndication runs, but donated the money to The American Foundation for AIDS Research, AIDS Project Los Angeles, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Rape Treatment Center, and UCLA Unicamp for underprivileged children."

I like Sofie. Do you know why I like Sofie? Because Sofie..... is a NEAT reactor ................................................ HUAH!!!

Steve Quast

Episode 22 is so good. David Schwimmer's physical comedy where he slides under the bed is too funny. And your reaction to the twist at the end was perfect.

Nanners

I love the twist at the end of ep.22. Your reaction was perfect 🥹 Bruce Willis is one of my favorite guest star appearances in the entire series. I love seeing reactors faces when they see him walk into the coffeehouse.

Jocelyn

thank you! all i ever see is people say it was because of a bet & no one ever correcting them. so i just rolled with it.

Randy Giles

My favorite Friends guest star, and you can tell how popular Bruce Willis was at the time by the loud audience reaction he got. I think the three loudest audience reactions for guest stars in Friends history were Robin Williams (S3), Bruce Willis, and a guest star in Season 8 (No Spoilers on who that guest star is!) Bruce was just coming off of The Sixth Sense, which was a HUGE hit and the 2nd-highest grossing movie of 1999 (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was #1). Bruce also did a movie with Matthew Perry around this time called The Whole Nine Yards, which is what led to Bruce agreeing to do Friends.

Jocelyn

YES SOFIE I WAS SO EXCITED FOR YOUR REACTION TO EP. 22 🥹🥹

Alile

You may not be ready for the next episodes, but I am! Your reaction to this episode was even better than I expected. 🥹 Can’t wait for next week!!!

Annie519

This last episode I have been waiting for you to get to ever since Monica and Chandler got together! The twist at the end was done to perfection! Not once did they hint that he was on board, you totally believe that he freaked out and having Monica be so insistent on never intending on pressuring him or trying to get him to do something he wasn't ready for and she wasn't offended at all made that ending so incredible. That smile and him saying "yeah, it's beautiful and answering Phoebe with just "I know" felt so genuine. And I also loved that Chandler shared that moment with Phoebe because I feel like, especially these later seasons that she seems to be a lot colder to him, like she brings him down a lot with mentioning quite a few times that he doesn't deserve Monica. Is that just me? So, it was nice to see them bond. I also have to note that Matthew Perry looked like he gave great hugs!

Wendy

I was waiting for your reaction to Chandler and Phoebe at the end. You did not disappoint 😃 I am with you on not caring for the Ross and Elizabeth stuff, but thank God for Bruce Willis. He saved it from being totally awful.

Joey Tribbiani

Sofie... you're definitely not ready for what's coming in the next episodes 😭 and tbh neither am I

Edo

Awww Sofie , your love and support for Chandler and Monica is so incredible and sweet!!! And I love how you're noticing how funny Ross (David Schwimmer's) acting has been in these Bruce Willis episodes. My God he's so funny lol. Rachel was pretty good too. The way she yelped when she saw him under the couch

Kelly

Aww Sofia…the ending is the payoff for everything! I can’t wait til the next two episodes!!

Izanne

I can’t wait!!! Your reaction is how I still react all these years later about Chandler and Monica. ❤️

Andy Raffle

Sofie: Chandler's not ready Chandler: I'm ready Sofie: I'm not ready!

Nina

John McClane makes an appearance. Joey and Chandler must be out of their minds considering how much they love Die Hard 😂 All jokes aside - Bruce Willis might be my favorite guest star. The character and his performance are top tier. David Schwimmer is brilliant as always.

Saem

Good job Chandler!

Enzo Reis

This situation with Ross dating a student and Rachel dating her boyfriend's father is weird! But at least Bruce Willis is pure comedy!

Enzo Reis

Chandler and Phoebe last scene it's so sweet! 🥺 Chandler grow up so much! So proud of him. 💘

Edo

No they def. amped up Phoebe's comments about Chandler lol. It's not just you. But i dunno I find it funny, Phoebe got more 'street' Phoebe in the later seasons. I mean they all changed right? (phoebe got snarkier, ross got crazier, rachel and monica got louder, chandler became more of a boyfriend/partner type, joey got stupider lol

Edo

yes! I love Ross and no matter what kind of cringe gross stuff Ross gets himself into its pure comedy gold.

elias rinis

Hey I'm new here, I really enjoy your reactions. Im rewatching your breaking bad ones since I only watched them on YouTube. I'm wandering when are you planning to watch Better Call Saul, I now you will love it and I cant wait!

Stellar

I love chandlers growth through the seasons. Probably my favorite chandler moment!

Annie519

I’m glad I’m not the only one, lol. And that’s very true, they all changed since the show started and I agree it could be funny some times. But other times she just came straight off mean, almost like she didn’t even like him. Like she just put up with him because he’s Monica’s boyfriend. We don’t even really see them have one on one storylines together anymore, aside from this one.

Vivien

I’ve been waiting so long for this episode to come out and your reaction at the end made me cry with you 🥲 worth the wait

Captain Kermit

We've had to keep so many secrets from you Sofie.

Raquel

I love these episodes! Ross's storyline with Elizabeth isn't anything special, but as everyone has said, it's worth it just to see Bruce (who won an Emmy for those episodes, it must be said). Great reaction, Sofie! It's wonderful to see you laughing so much and getting emotional at the end, looking forward to the reactions to the next ones. Bruce Willis in these episodes is incredible, one of the coolest cameos. I read a previous comment asking if Bruce appeared on Friends because he lost a bet with Matthew, and yes, that's right. Matthew himself says so in his book "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing," and Bruce has also confirmed it: https://youtu.be/-pwvctnQUYM?is=F-h2_tyggYuUDife When they filmed The Whole Nine Yards, Bruce wasn't convinced the film would be a success, and Matthew bet him that it would be number 1 at the box office on its opening weekend, and it was. Bruce appeared on Friends "for free" because he donated his salary.

Ciro_L

Oh God, I love these episodes so much, and Sofie's reactions just make me love them even more!!! I'm so excited for next week. It's going to make me the happiest person in the world 🥹🤍

Shannon

Oh man, her reaction to the end had me bawling my eyes out; the Matthew Perry shaped hole in my heart has not healed. 😭 That aside, loved the reaction to this one! I remember when Sofie said she might not watch past season one, and now look at her. 🥹🥹

Shannon

Yes and no, and I just pulled out my copy of Matthew Perry’s memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing” to fact check myself; taken from page 152, in his own words, “Bruce hadn’t been sure the film* would work at all, and I’d bet him it would—if he lost, he had to do a guest spot on Friends (he’s in three episodes of season six).” *the movie he’s referring to was The Whole Nine Yards.

Jocelyn

thank you! i need to get matthew’s book!

Kevin B.

pretty much everything she watches is voted on except friends if I remember correctly she wanted something light hearted and picked friends I dont think better call saul has been on a poll yet though. also welcome

Randy Giles

Interesting to read! Honestly, I think Bruce would've done Friends even if he won the bet. It seemed like something he wanted to do regardless.

Randy Giles

I always thought it was funny that Joey and Chandler have mentioned loving Die Hard in past episodes, which means Bruce Willis the actor exists in the fictional Friends universe, yet neither one thought Mr. Stevens looked familiar.

Randy Giles

I'm assuming she's not interested in watching it. She normally always covers spin-off shows immediately after the original show has finished. The only exception was Gen V (spin-off of The Boys) where she said she stopped watching it because she didn't like it. So if Saul didn't replace Breaking Bad on the schedule, there was probably a reason why.

elias rinis

Thanks, happy to be here!

elias rinis

I see, well I hope the reason is because its so long. Thanks!

loopkill

I was so excited to see your reaction to both the Bruce Willis scenes and the twist with Chandler at the end of the 6x22, and I was NOT disappointed!

The Rog

I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery. Take care. 🙂

Nanners

Thank you! I’m back home!

Nanners
