I really dont like David either but he did forget who he was in the other world on top of forgetting who he was in the real world. Not that it makes it okay to do what he did of course just kinda makes me understand how he could be that way.

I know it's the curse that makes Snow and Charming unhappy and that David makes stupid decisions as a result but he's still annoying in season 1 but I always loved their story in the past
