So guys, After I finish Arcane I want to dive in to the world of anime. These are the shows that were on my list of things to watch, Whatever wins the poll will replace Arcane next.

Avatar the last airbender is not an anime it's an American animated television series, but is really good anyways

Summer

Yeah, I think it’s Anime inspired

Hachi

For the future future, I would also suggest one of the other classics, like "Bleach" or "Naruto" but maybe without the filler episodes :)

Ana luiza Silva Rodrigues

Yep, but Attack on Titan losing for Avatar and Death note kind breaks my heart a bit lol, i mean these two are amazing series but Attack on Titan is a whole other level of tv show yk

SajonaraHitori

Attack on titan would change your life I mean it. I know it probably won’t win but I hope someday you will watch it bc it’s worth it.

Alix

i think you’d also really like fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood!

values-freedom

neither, good series like 12 monkeys, roswell (1999), trueblood, fringe

Summer

Yeah I know lol Maybe Avatar is winning since she’s just starting out with anime I guess it’s a good introduction

borntrouble

How am I supposed to choose between AoT and AtLA?

Allison

Attack on Titan is soooo good. I’m fairly new to anime as well and started with my husband’s list of recommendations. Avatar has a lot of heart and a lot of thematic story arcs. It’s much more slow paced and there will be less to react to in each episode. I did love it though. The first anime I watched was full metal alchemist brotherhood and it was also soooo good.

Leenis

I voted for and am glad Avatar won, BUT Attack on Titan is a must and hopefully replaces your next show, or at least Avatar/Korra.

Razzer95

Both are masterpieces but if you are looking for something that's a bit more lighthearted then definitely start with Avatar and watch AOT after

Kayla🫶

as a starter, ATLA is the best choice, and it’s also just an amazing show, but after ATLA, attack on titan would be an amazing show to react to! it’s just so dark, it would be hard to start with it.

Razzer95

Question, I've noticed for some of her new shows she is showing the screen but not the Audio but for others she is showing both? Can she not just use the audio if there is a copyright problem like the Normies do?

Lay-Lay

AOT !!!!!

Thomas

Fair use allows people to make reaction videos. However, that doesn't protect them from having to deal with a law suit which they would win but at some cost. So it's a matter of pick your battles. The older something is the less likely to be protective. Like Buffy is now owned by Disney. And they don't seem to get as excited about people doing those reviews as it helps drive sales. While Star Wars also owned by Disney is highly protected. It's Sofie's Choice an that involves to what she feels comfortable doing.

Razzer95

Ah fair enough was just wondering

Peppermint

Avatar is a great first pick! It's so cute and fun. I also think if you do the world of anime, I'd juggle between genres because some can be intense and I think it'd be nice for you to enjoy other genres. The first two choices are great choices but both dark. The world of anime is large, and it'd be nice to see which part calls to you. also curious if you planned Eng, or Eng subtitles. Some Eng Dub are really bad lol. For A rom-com style I think you'd enjoy NANA, for something poetic I suggest Demon Slayer. Something just fun and dear to most anime communities would be anything done by Hayou Miyazaki. Super excited to see what type of shows you try out.

I'd prefer BLUE EYE SAMURAI, the only animated series that dazzled me as much as Arcane: I've rarely been so immersed (it is 16th century Japan); mature, deep and super qualitative plot. Subtle, magnificent, instructive... You would loooooove it Sofie, trust me!
