Hello guys, I received a copyright warning from google about my vampire diaries reactions posted on my google drive, They took down some episodes and so to not risk terminating my google account along with every content associated with it, like my YouTube channel, I had to delete all of the vampire diaries episodes that were on my google drive '' that's all of season 1 and the first 11 episodes of season 2''. Hopefully the rest of the episodes of the vampire diaries and all the rest of the shows really will remain untouched  on dropbox.

So, Because of this from now on all the reactions without any exceptions will be blurred with the audio left running on the background which means that I'm not gonna stop the episode while watching and leave commentary at the end unless you think you'll still be able to keep up if I stop the episode once in a while since the audio running in the background will help with resyncing. Please let me know in the comments what you prefer.

In addition, I won't be available next week but I' gonna be covering most of the reactions this week in the exception of a couple episodes that will be up as soon I'm back the following week, But you should expect a total of 12 episodes.

Ps; Since I already recorded a bunch of them, The new policy won't take effect till I come back the following week.

To be honest im fine with the pausing of the episodes, however much u do it is fine with me, id rather u not miss anything then to talk over it, i know u said u would save the commentary for the end which is also good but i can also understand that sometimes its very hard not to speak ur mind with a scene that just happened

Unfortunate that these companies are so butthurt over people watching shows they have all already seen and/or paid for. I guarantee 99 percent of Patreon users who follow reactors have already seen these shows multiple times. It's so silly they think they are losing money in any way. If anything it promotes the show to get someone to watch it and then come back to the see the reactor watch it.

I'm sure people will understand since we all want your channel to be able to continue. And if can maybe letting know when pausing and playing may be helpful but I don't know if possible,though sure audio will be very helpful as well.For anyone who needs it,the picture in picture extentions let you use your own copy from a streaming service for example.

Sorry to hear that you're going through this. Have you spoken to any other reactors on Patreon to see how they're doing it? I could suggest a few. It couldn't hurt to reach out to them. 1. Jessie Dobie 2. Liam Catterson. They both did Vampire Diaries and OUAT, and are easy to reach. I know Jessie went through something like this but she could explain it much better than I. I’d always vote to have to the audio running atleast, a lot easier to follow then watching with no sound

I understand the need, but this presents a big difficulty for me as someone with a hearing disability. I do rely heavily on visual footage, as well as any subtitles; having only audio makes it unwatchable for me, sadly. :(

Id say you can pause and talk just let us know you're about to pause...audio playing for the first min is a good way to sync but I think it's better with no audio so theres no echo when syncing.

Yeah I agree I was also wondering if significantly reducing the opacity like the way she does breaking bad, arcane and Lucifer helps? Like can’t that be an option?

Can you possibly position the blur filter so it doesn't cover the subtitles at the bottom of the pip frame? that'd help a lot with syncing.

I think most people including me as well really want you to still pause but to maybe just let know when pausing and when pressing play again if thats possible to do.

I don’t follow any other reactors, so I don’t know how they do it, but just a thought - Could you put a 3-2-1 count down on the screen when you’re going to pause, and again when you’re going to play?

??? First, Stop using Google Drive. Plus "Drop-Box" has nothing to do with Google. Ask yourself why their cherry picking certain episodes? Because the cost in fighting you. If your just storing you content on there it's none of their business! Every thing I see is from Drop Box. Perhaps you need to get some professional advice as in Lawyer who specializes in creator content and some IT advise would hurt either cause there maybe options you haven't thought of.

i like the audio running to help resync, because i have trouble keeping up. also whenever you make it transparent, the neon light in the background shows through.

As of today, Sunday, Jan 28th I don't see any new episodes of OUAT? I keep getting emails about all the other shows but don't see OUAT. This happened on another reactor's Patreon, but some others could see the missing episodes, and shared the links. Are there more episodes listed that I just don't see? If not, just need to know when to expect them. Thanks!

I'm not sure if the costs would be prohibitive but you might look into leasing your own virtual file hosting server. Then you could be in full control of what you have on there and likely nobody could do anything about it.
