Taking Jem EVO Out For A Spin (Patreon)

Hope you're having a good weekend guys! Took my Ibanez Jem EVO out for a spin. Just random fooling around...This guitar has the most "shreddy" neck I've ever played, although the Finnish winters have now punished it a little bit. Looks like the 23th fret and few other frets have sadly become a little uneven. It's a very unique guitar. Nice snappy feel, a bit nasal and honky sounding acoustically, but paired with the Dimarzio pickups it has that "Vai tone".It probably won't be featured in any Wintersun album, because it doesn't have EMG pickups or an EverTune. Unless I decide to start playing rock'n'roll one day! I don't dare modify it, because it's a very limited edition made to be an exact replica of Steve Vai's original Jem EVO. It's still a very fun guitar to play every now and then.
