100 Metallica Riffs, pt. 1 TABS! (Patreon)

Many of these riffs I had played before making the video but this time I wanted to go an extra mile and try to get and transcribe the original sound, picking patterns and fingerings down as closely as possible. Luckily nowadays you can find isolated tracks and great quality live footage for most of these songs. 

One funny thing I found when doing the research was that with Jump In The Fire they actually changed the key (the tuning, but also the fretting hand position, which is quite rare) they play it in. Originally the song was played in E Standard tuning, key of G (3rd fret position) and later changed to Eb tuning and key of F (2nd fret position, equivalent to F# in E Standard), probably to be able to use more open strings in the riffs.
