I discovered Children Of Bodom right around the time I was picking up the guitar and their at-the-time latest album Hatebreeder (1999) had a huge influence on my playing back then. Here's a few of my favorite riffs from that album.

That bed of razors intro was one of the first songs that made me get into playing metal guitar, really lovely to see it played

became an instant fan of metal when I heard children of bodom for the first time. The loss of Alexi to me is probably how the previous generation of guitarists feel when Eddie van halen passed. I'm suprised there hasnt been some kind of tribute show to Alexi.

One of my all time favourite albums! I remember we had a music day in school where students could form bands and play on the stage and these guys played Bed Of Razors and shocked everyone. That's the day I wanted to start playing guitar haha. Your playing is so smooth and effortless, noice!
