Happy Friday, September 1st!

'The Forest That Weeps' was always an August song. That's the month I went to the Forest for the first time and got inspired to write this song. Something about the light, how it shines through the trees, is unique during August. Sadly, it's over now, but let's celebrate the passing of summer one more time! Here we go, boys! - Jari

Yes, this is beautiful. The humanity is a seed with the potential to germinate, nothing ends, everything is renewed. Always and forever. Good journey!

The middle 'party part' is always fun to watch in these live videos :D

The Forest Seasons is Wintersun's best album, so these videos are always pleasant. Thanks!

When I watched the Forest Documentary in 2017 and heard 03:18-03:39 for the first time, I was so emotional. It has sent me to a different realm of existence with every subsequent listen. It is one of the most perfect sections I have ever heard, from the orchestra to the band, and especially Jari's vocals. Every song on the Forest Seasons album has one or two parts that absolutely slaughter me, and in Summer (Forest that Weeps), this is that part! The entire song (and album) is a masterpiece, but this one section is just PEAK!!!

Epic! Music, performance, atmosphere...
