It's another bumper episode of Time Team News tonight at 7pm (BST).

Get ready for the premiere and live chat RIGHT HERE.

Dani Wootton sheds light on the amazing conservation and new replicas of an incredible, 2,000-year-old Roman cavalry helmet.

Dani is joined by Prof Luc Amkreutz, co-author of the award-winning book, Doggerland - a huge ancient landscape, where Neanderthals once roamed besides woolly mammoth, now submerged beneath the North Sea.

We also share news of an imposing Medieval chateau, rediscovered under a courtyard in Brittany. And Dani and Tim Taylor return to Modbury, Devon, for a special screening on Time Team's latest episode.

Plus, we have an update on our next 3-day dig episodes, coming soon to YouTube!

I think Time Team news is a really wonderful part of the network of projects Time Team is doing! I'm always excited to see what will be featured and to follow links to learn more. Thank you so much to everyone who puts in the work to get these to happen!

That was an interesting use of modern technologies to recreate the helmet

Can't wait for the next Time Team 3 part episode in May. I would love to see Time Team tackle a Great War Western Front location on day...

Why do Archeologists find the fact that our ancesters could do, or organise, or build as good as we would do? These peoples brains were same as us. Some archaeologist seem to love to be 'surprised'.

Really enjoying the Time Team News shows - more archaeology news is never a bad thing! As to Dartmoor, yes, I would definitely like to see more about its archaeology.

Found the PERFECT theme music on Pandora today for Phil. It's a sea shanty called Doggy, Doggy Hole. Listen to it and imagine Phil extending a trench (at 150% speed on the video) It would be AWESOME!!
