Thank you to all of our Sutton Hoo volunteers! (Patreon)

It's the end of Week 3 here at Sutton Hoo, and we'd like to extend a huge thank you to all our fantastic volunteers, both in the test pits and Garden Field excavation.

Whether travelling 9,000 miles or from the local town, we've been overwhelmed by your enthusiasm and hard work in the heat of the sun!

We hope you enjoyed the experience, and thanks for representing all of our Patreon members worldwide.

For everyone else who applied, sorry you weren't selected this time. Following this success, we hope to offer more opportunities in future, so please do keep a look – you never know, next time, it could be you!

Coming Up

We're now busy putting together highlights from this week. Look out for those by the end of the weekend. There's plenty more Sutton Hoo action still to come, including interviews with Helen and Sam Newton, capped off by another live episode next week, featuring Tony Robinson.
