Time Team's Dr Lawrence Shaw and Harry Manley of Bournemouth University have been on their bikes, pedalling for a good cause.

They've just taken part in the epic 250-mile Waterloo to Waterloo Cycle in support of Waterloo Uncovered. What's more, they've been filming their adventure for an upcoming Time Team release!

We'll have more details on that soon. In the meantime, there's still time to sponsor their journey RIGHT HERE.

If you can, and wish to show support, please do.

Congratulations to Lawrence and Harry – enjoy a well-earned rest before the next dig!

Well done! I'd love to find out how they organised things; it doesn't look like they packed a lot of gear onto their bikes!

that photo was taken over the summer during one of their "practice runs" LOL - I imagine for this event they have a support crew with tents and food stuffs and tools (for bike repairs), etc. I can't wait to see the video :)

Best wishes from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada 🙂.

This inspiring effort is raising money to support the archaeology of Waterloo Uncovered! We will be sharing more on the project at Waterloo as part of our coverage, so please keep a look out for more details.
