We hope you all enjoy this exclusive sneak peek at the very first episode of our new 3 Day Dig “Digging for Disney.”

Join Time Team as we venture to the picturesque village of Norton Disney in rural Lincolnshire, searching for a long-lost medieval moated manor house. Richard meticulously oversees the trenches, Carenza galvanizes the entire village with over a hundred volunteers, Stewart leads the quest for the elusive moat, and Gus delves into the Disney family's medieval legacy, pushing the village’s origins further back in time.

We’re absolutely thrilled to share this episode with you two weeks before its official YouTube release and look forward to watching days 2 and 3 together!

Eek! Two of my favorite things! Time Team and Disney (the mouse sort). Never could I ever have imagined them intertwined in any way whatsoever. How exciting!

Anja Adam

That was already very exciting. Now I won't be able to sleep for the next few nights because I have to know what happens next! Well done guys =)

Justin Freeman

Excellent! Hooray for test pit 9 and the first bit of mediaeval pot!

Even though Walt Disney was born in Chicago, Kansas City as his boyhood home also claims him.

Marilyn Wright

Really enjoyed Day 1 and all the interesting information about the Disney Family home. Can't wait for day 2

Eelco Kruidenier

But you won't find anything medieval in either Chicago or Kansas. You might be lucky if you'd find anything from the 18th century.

Eelco Kruidenier

I thought Time Team did a Disney thing a few years ago already. But this seems to be a new one.

Martyn Williams

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback so far! I'm looking for a Time Team member to come on the podcast with me and Helen Geake to give a review of the episode. You would have to be available at 11am (UK time) on Tuesday 26th August. If you're interested then please reply to this comment and I will contact you by email. Thanks, Martyn (podcast co-host)

When will day 2 be available?

DIANA R NELSON

Great first day. Gus seems a lot more comfortable and I enjoyed all the various elements of heraldry and family history as well as the archaeology. Great team. Maybe should have introduced Dani.

Rick Shepard

A new TT dig - perfect! Looking forward to day 2.

JUDITH COOKE

This is such a high class professional production. The latest technical advances offer a stunning programme beautifully presented by members of the Team. Thanks to everyone for their contributions. Looking forward to finally finding out what was discovered at this fascinating site.

David Dearden

I was thinking the same. It seemed strange that there was no referring back to their previous work

Rubys Rose

Well worth spending my limited seniors $ on, to enjoy good folks, community, lovely British, Welsh, Irish & Scottish characters, the beloved long time TT archaeologists & the new additions! You folks are my go to for sanity, good peoples all helping to raise our knowledge about our ancient ancestors.

Peter Blay

I have been trying for a week and a half to watch this full screen. I still can't.

N Hansen

It might be a setting at your end, that or they've fixed it now. Either way, It works fine on my machine.

Michelle Cailes

I’m no Happy kiddy. I can’t open the vid in the app. I’m a Paid member, it just keeps telling me that it’ll be on iTunes in 13 hours. How can I fix this?

Jen Collins

Finally getting a chance to sit down and watch these! You guys are amazing, and I agree with everyone who said the production is next level! And I also love Gus, glad to have him back.
