Dig Watch: The Ness Dig Diary | Day 2 (Patreon)

A beautiful sunny morning lifted the spirits and dried out the damp boots.

We had over 250 visitors even at this early stage of the proceedings.

The team has divided the trench into quadrants and put 2 slots across it, in across shape as a preview of what to expect in the quadrants.

John was hugely relieved when some stones emerged right where the geofizz suggested they should be. Jackie has been working away all day troweling... and getting to know the tech!
