Waiting in the sunshine? I thought you planned to focus on UK sites...😉

Christine Madigan

I am so happy to think I help to bring you back. Gosh, I wish I was out there digging with you!

Graham Brown

More classics! Great news, these have really helped with the latest lockdown.

Bart Remeeus

i love all the time team classics and even in rough financial times decided to keep on funding time team as it shows ongoing commitment to educate people of all generations on history not only of amazing well known structures but also about the common folk we rarely hear about in history teachings.

John DuSomme

I’m very excited to hear that preliminary work has begun on site. I wish we could all be out in the field with you when the time comes. Perhaps some Time Team VR is a possibility. All the best from Canada.

Pleased Pete

This is going to be so wonderful :-)

Steve Mikre

This update by Tim just made me smile ear to ear...🙂

Daniel Satchwell

What a brilliant idea regarding VR. VR video has come on leaps and bounds. More and more people now have VR headsets. To see some of the finds or even a look at the trenches in VR would be incredibly immersive.

Amy Singerle

Great update! But you may want to edit the date on the title of the video. ;).

Sharyle Doherty

Tim, you mentioned your father crafted some of those trowels. Sounds like there’s a story there waiting to be told. I’d love to hear about him. Did he inspire your interest in archeology?

Michelle Bailey

Thank you for letting us be part of this journey. Looking forward to it all.

Arnstein Birkeland

You're just one big tease!!! Don't keep us in suspense like that!

Barry Sterry

Any ballpark timeframe for the new episodes? This year or next! Keep up the good work!

Amy Singerle

Omg I am so sorry. I am American so I read the date as February 4th 2021 and since they were talking about Easter in the video I thought it was a typo and should be April 4. But I just remembered that we write our dates differently from the rest of the world and that other countries put the day first then the month. Again so sorry.

Teri Brewer

Yes the hint of personal history on the trowels is intriguing. Maybe a bit more on this?

Richard Thomas

Please don't apologise, given the multiple nationalities watching these it is a natural confusion. Perhaps future posts will be clearer!

Melissa Kristl

I had to watch this twice because I kept looking at the plants lol. They look like they're happy.

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi Amy, sorry for any confusion – yes we were using the British convention!

Bron Lloyd

I love Tim’s plants and the conservatory!

Bron Lloyd

Will the shows on YouTube be free or subscription based for those who aren’t Patreon supporters? For those of us in Australia, getting to the TT Classic episodes has been a bit of a pain even for subscribers, got around it by getting a VPN....hopefully the new ones won’t be geo-restricted.

Cathy A Young

Just remember this "days make months and months make years." That way you remember 2/4/2021 is April 2. I'm so excited! I'm still waiting for my certificate!

Chris Pylant

That was my first reaction as well, then remembered that our British friends do this right!

Amy Singerle

Cathy that’s a great way to remember and it does makes so much sense to write it that way. And yes Chris I agree.

Don Cook

during the outro...i saw what i THINK is Phil's hat on one of the shovels. Am i inverting things, or does this mean Phil might be on the team again?

Ari Wick

Time Team inspired me during the pandemic to pursue my life-long passion for Archaeology as post graduate study at 35. From every ounce of my heart, thank you Tim for this outstanding show. I get so excited every time I see an update, like a child unwrapping presents. Please keep the gifts of exploration, learning, and discovery coming, and rest easy knowing we (your community of Patreon supporters) will do our part to continue supporting you, this outstanding program, and the amazing time team. All my family’s love and best wishes, Ari Wick (Grand Rapids, MI, USA).

Eggs Ackley

Tim’s comments at this specific time bring to my mind the origins of Easter (pre-Christian) as a celebration of renewal and one might say, the resurrection of Time Team. Crack on!

Phelim McIntyre

My trowels are sharpened, in the tool bag ready to go. All I need is the call/email. 😁

Tony Clayton

I also get around that by using a VPN but it's worth it for sure. I believe Foxtel owns the rights to air TT here in Aus and I'm not certain when that deal expires.

Jesse Bott

Will we (Patrons) be able to get more footage of the digs? It always feels like we lose so much of the details on a 45 minute episode that encapsulates three days. It would be great to see more footage, even if it's not narrated or edited. I would love it if there were live cameras streaming the footage the days of the digs. Would be really cool.

Rachelle Gates

Happy Easter can’t wait for the digging to start.

Marion Harris

I've really missed Time Team; it's wonderful to have it back!

Amy Krause

I’ve been neck deep in work and not tuning is as much as I’d like but I just wanted to drop in to say how pleased and excited I am. This program has been a companion through this pandemic year and every time I watch a classic episode I feel like I’m reconnecting with old friends. Congratulations and keep up the great work!
