Brilliant. The original TT Boat On The Rhine show was fascinating. We enjoyed the other boat-building experimental archeology too. It's great that someone is trying to recreate the Sutton Hoo boat!

Steve Mikre

From the very beginning Time Team incorporated Experimental Archeology for a better understanding on how important aspects of daily life and difficulties of ancient civilizations. For Sutton Hoo's Boat Company the collaboration with Time Team greatly elevates their stature and public awareness...

John Boudewijn

I love these types of projects. Really gives you a sense of scale when it comes to our ancestors' workmanship. Excited to learn more!

Jeff Hampson

This is brilliant news. Sutton Hoo's a great place. The boat reconstruction looks fantastic

One of my favorite sites! How exciting to see Time Team involved in this project!

grnbriar

Hmmm. Lens clips don't work in Chrome, just hang.

Emily Flotilla

Great news! Keep up the great work Time Team!

Christopher Samuel

Fantastic! Look forward to being able to see this - do you know yet how it will be broadcast/streamed? A note on the "Lens" videos - they only seem to show up in the app and only appear to be accessible via the notification rather than being visible in your feed.

Mieke Kemper

Cool! When i was a kid my parents were donators on the Batavia build. So we went to the dock a view times a year to see the progress. Cool playground 😃 it felt like beeing in the belly of a whale and the smell was great, wood and tar 😁

Paul Brekke

Great news! Looking forward to seeing more of this project :)

Kay Theriault

This's interesting. I'll look forward to seeing the "how'd they do that" aspects of this ship!

Dale Wilson

Well, this just keeps getting better,I freaken love you guys.

Jack D Stout

On my Android device, at the top of the feed, there is a tab for "posts" and a tab for "lens". Maybe the app is wonky on other devices?

Christopher Samuel

Thanks for the hint Jack, on iOS I'm only seeing "Posts" and "Audio" at the top (even updating the app to the latest version) so I wonder if this is a phased rollout.

Terri

Couldn't have said it better!!!

Graham Dombkins

Fantastic. Would love love love to see more on this.

Virginia Ross

The ship is so elegant. Many thanks to the skilled artisans who are making it and to Time Team for documenting it. Well done all!

Judith Snailum

Oh, wow. My favourite exhibit at the British Museum and now they are doing this?! Wonderful!

Ellis Coombs

Great project! Definitely looking forward to it!

Catherine Anderson

I am excited to this documentary along with all of the other updates!

Kerry Hennigan

I recently donated for a nail and rivet for the boat, so I'm extremely excited about Time Team's involvement.

David M. Kirkeby

I also bought a few nails for the boat. I am looking forward to seeing this project when i go to England. I was very happy to see that there is now an association between Time Team and this project. Most of the videos of this project are of a very low quality. Hopefully, Time Team, will produce some better video content of the project.

Stephen John Brown

I too have 'bought' a couple of rivets for the ship. am a regular visitor to Sutton Hoo even though I now live in the Midlands. Hoping to visit the shed in Woodbridge next year . Glad to see the new Time team involvement
