Thanks for putting up the replay of this quickly. Unfortunately the release of the second dig was at 2am for me and I need to be at work by 8am. 😕 now I get to catch up. Loved all TT work on this and I’m looking forward to more.

Zoe Propper

Thank-you for getting this up so quickly. I was really enjoying the discussions but needed to leave before the end. Now I can see what I missed in 😀

Alan McIntosh

How about subtitled definitions of terms/phrases which trained archaeologists understand but sofa-diggers don't? A definition need only appear once, when it first occurs in a particular episode.

Paul Zellmer

Could you make available references to the original dig in this dig when the archaeologists are finished with the reports?

Lacy Oden

This was great fun! Thanks so much for letting us interact!!!

Warren Feldman MD

I would love to know why , after 410 did all this Roman architecture and culture vanish from Britain

the polish dude

I am not the expert but it seems there are existing buildings in many cases next to the vanished roman site . Could they just have used the stone from the Roman to construct their villa?

Trish Murphy

Sorry I missed this live. Thanks for posting. Tim. Yes, yes, yes. Please visit previous site to supplement new digs for 2022 & beyond. That would be incredible ✌️💚

Hunt

Thank you for sharing this. It adds a whole extra layer of richness into the digs, and the conversation between all the experts is insightful as well as fun.

Donna Oglesby

Question, as far as the Lady's burial that you reopened. What happened to the body?? Was it still buried in the Burial,? Think a cam on a trowel would not be a good idea, since with all the scrapping I would get a headache by trying to follow that. LOL. Seeing Neil again was awesome. Tim, Looking forward to future digs and places..

Donna Oglesby

will there just be two episodes a year?? or will there be more for 2022?? Wondering if the Phil just doesn't want to be part of the New Time Team 2.0?? Or maybe others no longer want him around??just every time I manage to being his name up, anything about him, is just pushed aside and ignored, so wondering...

Love Time Teams Originals. Stewart, The way he can look at the land and always find things, Naomi finding all those seeds through all the water shifting that was being done, awesome, and John with all the new tech that he is now able to use to further get to what is undergrounds and where to dig just blows my mind. Helen and Dani their experience in the finds..and Henry! Been 10 yrs, we have all gotten older, but think you have all gotten better with age and experience! well done to all of you!

Donna Oglesby

All this would not be possible without Tim at the helm! Bravo to all of you. Stay Blessed!

This was another wonderful session, full of extra insights. Wonderfully hosted by Lawrence and Derek. Would be lovely to have a Patreon session with Gus and Natalie at some point. I'm sure they're very busy people, but would be great to hear how they found their first two digs.

AsierZ

Dear Time Team. It was another wonderful time team episode. The new series is keeping high the arqueology level and the fun :) Looking forward for the support of another dig and seeing the broadcast of episode 3.

I love the idea of a Time Team convention! But, I'd never be able to attend, living on the California Central Coast. Envious of all the people who could go!

Alana Tolstad

I understood Phil was involved in other projects and couldn't break away.

leslee hackenson

Great to hear individual stories and behind the scenes. So wonderful to have Time Team in our lives again!

Graham Stokes

Thanks all. I enjoyed this recap with you and the whole experience.

To Tim: It's all about your vision; we trusted you and you delivered. Thank you.

Kieran Gane

I am always amazed at how accomplished the team is. But if I had to name an MVP, it would be Emily. Bringing all of this chaos together into a cohesive whole which is visually beautiful, must be so difficult.

Kieran Gane

Stuart and his pondski scheme! :-)

Corellia S

VR-Matt needs a snappy nickname. :)

Billie Lyons-Super

I would love to see Time Team return to some of the “Time Team Classic” sites where additional work has been done, and give us an update. Also, if you could add “stripey jumpers” to your merch store, I’ll bet you could raise some money. :)

"Blade" McMicking, D.I.

Suggestion: what about an opportunity for those of us lucky enough to have our names on that Time Team Banner (featured behind Neil and his first VR experience) to purchase a poster copy of that amazing bit of memorabilia? Pretty Please?

"Blade" McMicking, D.I.

OH! And I am chuffed to say that I've got my Time Team Trowel! #435 / 750 resides in Ontario, Canada! :)
