Thank you for all your votes on the Site Contenders, and we hope you've been enjoying the Site Wrestle sessions so far. There's much more still to come, including further details on individual sites very soon.

R&D is ongoing and we have some very exciting developments to announce shortly. In the meantime, we're pleased to share another 3D model from our recent Series 21 digs...

This photogrammetry model from Broughton Roman Villa shows Trench 1, supervised by our seasoned digger, Matt Williams. This is the very trench where the copper alloy disc, later identified as a handheld mirror, was discovered.

Access the model on Sketchfab here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/broughton-roman-villa-trench-1-8ae36eca0ae946f6b480d2f88a228198

Keep a look out for more insights and 3D models, coming soon.

TIP: To view all of the 3D models we've shared so far, click on the '3D model' tag at the bottom of this post, which will bring up the related posts.

Post-Excavation Update

Post-ex analysis is still ongoing for both of Time Team's recent digs. This is typically a complex and time-consuming process, involving the data and insights of a wide range of experts in various disciplines, which are then collated and compiled into the final report. We'll be sharing much more information on specific finds, trenches and developments as the process progresses, so please watch this space for further updates. We are also in the process of auditing and re-cataloguing earlier posts in Patreon's feed to make them easier to access.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING

Conan Mills

Any way we could get a master class on photogrammetry drone photogrammetry?

Diana Lindvall

Loved playing with the Sketchfab model. Thanks!

Mak Wilson

Unfortunately the Sketchfab model kept crashing on my iPad. Maybe I need the app?

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi Conan, we'll see what we can do! More info on photogrammetry (large and small scale) to come.

Mak Wilson

Thanks, will take a look.

Mak Wilson

Seems like it maybe devices using touchscreens that are the problem, although it doesn’t specifically mention iPads. Will take a look on my desktop machine tomorrow.

Sheila Sanderson

Can you provide a link that opens up the image in the Sketchfab app? Or label the image with something we can use to search for it? Do you have all the TT 3D images in a collection, or under your User Name?

Bill Karoly

I just upped my pledge from 7.50 to 11.50. in addition to asking for more new members maybe ask existing Patrons if they can upgrade to the next tier. Just a thought.

TimeTeamOfficial

The best way to access each of the 3D models currently available on Sketchfab is by clicking on the 3D model tag in this post, to bring up all related posts on Patreon. Hope that helps, thanks

Sheila Sanderson

I can’t access the models in the Apple app on my iphone using the link. When I search for Time Team in the app you are there as users but it says you have no models.

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi Sheila, our models are available on a range of devices and platforms, but are hidden from the main account view, to be accessed exclusively via the individual links for each model shared here on Patreon.

Sheila Sanderson

I thought that might be it. I suppose I’ll have to view on my laptop and not my iphone.

Hunt

Will the final report be shared on here? And are final reports from previous Time Team digs available somewhere?

Hunt

That's fantastic. Thanks

Matt Cummins

The 3-D model is absolutely fantastic! Thanks very much for posting that!
