Poppy Marks

Exciting! Can’t wait to see some of the behind the seens.

Stitch

You haven’t even started digging and you already found a skull. Incredible!

Ann Wagner

Have good weather and a great dig!

Richard Linley

Fabulous! The tent makes it look like Time Team Does Bake Off!

Levy

Kind of amazing looking at their set up while remembering the ad hoc sunshades and rain tents they had to use in the old shows.

Charlotte Edmonds

So exciting! Also thank you for posting this from Day 0, it makes it feel real - my concept of time can be a bit fuzzy and seeing this helps my brain fully grasp that yes it is actually happening. Hooray!

Stephen Conant

I get goosebumps whenever I hear the theme song start up!

Jen A

I’m ready! Go team!

Robert Boudreau

Seeing the digger sitting there I can't help but think of the late Ian Barclay. Hope you're watching what your friends are up to now Ian.

Jude Edling

The tents are up! I hope everyone has a successful and enjoy experience. Thank you!

Thomas C. Vail

Best wishes and hopes for a fantastic dig :-)

Don Cook

The past is calling.......

Patricia Amero

I just read on TimeTeamDigital.com that "Ian was famed for his party tricks including peeling a banana and even placing a coin in somebody’s back pocket, all from the cab of his digger!" huh... I always respected his talents on the show, but I never realized how far it went from there. RIP Ian 🙏

Lacy Oden

I’m so excited!!! Thanks so much!

Robert Boudreau

Yeah, he was a wizard with those machines. In one outtake he picked up I think it was a grape, and dropped it in Paul Blinkhorn's mouth with the digger.

Donna Oglesby

Looking forward to this dig, and what they find! I see the digger, here we call an excavator, all ready and can't help but think of Ian. He and Phil just worked so well together. Ready to sit back this weekend, with a hot cup of coffee and watch it all. Been looking forward to this for a while:-) Bring it on!

Jen&Jaz

Fingers crossed the overnight rain hasn’t made it too horrible to work 🤞

JUDITH COOKE

Sounds wonderful. So looking forward to participating in this dig. Hope everyone has a great time.

Konstantin

FINALLY some proper BTS. Thanks for adding this, Tim!

Dorothy Frank

Woo! Glad dig watch is back! Could someone who knows bones way better than I do ID the critter in the opening shot? Just curious, I know it isn't archeological.
