It's the morning of our final day of the Knights Hospitaller dig, and here's Derek and Lawrence with a quick briefing on the day ahead... by the way, what a pair of mugs!

We have the last Site Walkabout on the way, alongside another layer of the data map, an incredible interactive 3D model, plus a rather lovely Q&A session with Helen Geake, answering your questions.

For anyone whose name didn't make it onto the flag, we understand your disappointment, but please don't worry - we have an update coming shortly with a remedy to ensure your names will be physically with us at the all-important third site.

The dig weekend might be almost over, but we have many more insights to share from both digs and the post-production process in the weeks ahead.

We also have some very exciting new pieces on the horizon, dropping in some fascinating projects, which we cannot wait to share with you.

Thank you again for all your support!

I have that very mug! For anyone else interested I got it here: https://www.namaste-uk.com/section.php/2991/1/mugs (scroll down to find it). Quick tip: it says dishwasher proof but will fade if you try that so best to hand wash. Not the most relevant comment for this video I know 😅

What is a typical day for a team digger? when do they start, finish. what time is the briefing etc.

Clive McIntyre

So used to seeing Lawrence with his cap on I didn't recognise him at first! I deduce, my dear Watson, tis neither sunny nor raining🔎🤭

Doug Lucey

Dig Watch and behind the scenes filming is most enjoyable, with two fine presenters in Derek and Lawrence. Thanks also to TT for remembering the flagless amongst us. A real team effort!

Jon Colcord

Digging the cows. Lovely site on a sunny morning!

Jude Edling

Looks like the cows aren't impressed by all the goings on.

Robert Wise

Trees too far away, I heard every word!

Patricia Amero

I thought mine wasn't on it, and literally searched forever (okay, 1 hr.) Surprise, it was there after all...

Saw the coffee mugs and thought of Mick right away. :)

Mark Lund

Of course, an appropriate Mick memory, not TT having to get on the 'rainbow flag', PC bandwagon. Thanks goodness. (A time and a place).

Mandy Lupton

Actually, Mark, when I first saw these mugs in the earlier programs I interpreted them as displaying Pride solidarity. I felt this was a cause for celebration, along with more inclusivity in the Team in terms of women and people of colour. Every time and place is appropriate to embrace diversity :-)

James Lee-Pevenhull

My name is on the flag. Proud that Sir Ralph Lee AKA Sir Pevenhull went on crusade with the Knights Hospitallers. FYI, Sir Fulk Fitzwarin III, born at Whittington Castle circa 1165, d. 1258 is reputedly source of the Robin Hood myth.
