Eve

-Would love to see the translation of Sam's song. So appreciate all the work you and the team do. Thank you

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi Eve, it may have been an extract from Beowulf. We'll be sharing the full lyre masterclass in due course, so will ask Sam to provide a translation.

David Boon

Looking forward to a bit more exclusive content. I am not sure whether I missed some of the Q&As from this dig or if they are still to come.

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi David, there are more Q&As to come from this dig, including the full Jackie interview, John Gater, a very interesting discussion with early Medieval specialist Helena Hamerow and, of course, more from Sam.

Jon Colcord

I was also curious to see a photo of a cowboy. I already had assumed that the 3rd dig would be historical archaeology (yay!), but I also assumed it would be about the colonial period. Is it simply that a cowboy image is code for ‘America’, or should we expect an excavation of a Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show campsite from a UK stop? Hmmm…

Derek Barham

One of the best dig watches….intriguing.

Hi Jon, look out for our upcoming Site Wrestle session here on Patreon, when we'll be discussing a potential location.
