It's Day 6 of the Band of Brothers dig and it's really getting going now with a wealth of finds coming out of the trenches.

Matt Williams is also joined by Carenza Lewis to help on the dig site, whilst Stewart Ainsworth investigates the surrounding landscape in more detail.

Keith Westcott is dispatched with a 'Band of Metal Detectorists' to see what evidence they could discover from the nearby training grounds.

Join us for another fascinating day of Dig Watch from this Operation Nightingale dig in Wiltshire.

Is this dig going to be put into a programme? I thought Tony was involved in it? (Not that I’m not enjoying Matt’s commentary!)

Richard Linley

Another brilliant day in Wiltshire! Loving this.

Denise DuBois

I believe Tony is involved in documentaries

Ann H

Terrific sound clarity of presenters. Matt's voice presents especially well.

Steve Mikre

I'm loving every minute of this Time Team Dig Watch series...

Wendy Sengpiehl

Matt, Stewart, and Carenza! What a treat! The entire Time Team crew are marvelous!

Hi Mark. Following the daily updates from Matt, the dig will ultimately culminate in a final programme featuring Tony. Further details to be announced...

Steve Mikre

I think Matt is doing an amazing job...

Janet Sutton

Matt's doing a great job as presenter.

Freda Seddon

Did any of the US soldiers marry local girls?

David Boon

I think the Patreons are saying ‘We want more Matt!’ Some more fascinating teasers with the trees. I hope this is covered in detail in the final programme with Tony. PS. Thanks for continuing to use the proper spelling of programme. I held out as a teacher in Australia until more people were using the alternate spelling and gave up. The kids were getting confused.

Andrew Calderwood

Although I find deeper history more interesting, I’m enjoying these multiple day (more than 3-days) Time Team videos. I know there is a lot behind what we’re seeing in terms of editing and production and am grateful for the time and effort! 😊

Rick Shepard

I find myself really looking forward to this when I get home from work every day. Great job, thank you.

Kerry Hennigan

Can't wait for each new update. This is so good!

Rick Doner

Retired US Army here. Loving that you are digging and relating the history.

Chef Tess

Fantastic job, all!

Norine Nagle

I love that fox holes were found and the construction was explained.

Robin Whitehead

This has been interesting, although it's not ancient history, the way it is presented to subscribers in daily episodes is great. I must say that Matt is turning out to be an excellent presenter!

Patricia Amero

I'm quite envious of Matt's camper van. If I was working on-site I'd do the exact same thing... like Mick used to do too. 🥰

Cheryl Kurucz

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ronald Speirs and had a son; his wife didn't want to leave family, though, so they divorced...

Erika Airhart

I remember seeing a Time Team episode from a little ways back where Phil Harding was trying to explain why he believed rather than an enclosure, he was seeing a 'tree fall'... I thought I had been able to visulaize what he was talking about. Stuart's find in the woods and his explanation + the memory from that classic episode = perfect!!

Eelco Kruidenier

Matt is doing a very good job at presenting this.

Cassandra Rust

Yes, at least a couple, and there were a number of less formalised liaisons!

Krathognis

agreed. I'm enjoying Matt as the presenter.
