Personality/Background
He was not entirely close with his parents at first after not really showing any interest in racing. His dad was shocked, and his mom was ok with it but was worried he wouldn't find something he liked in a family who DID racing. They have good laughs together every now and then, but most days Thunder just likes hanging outside with his friends. 

After the whole thing with Fire Bolt, his whole attitude changed. He became a lot bossier and mean. Vapor did not approve but Thunder didn't care, stuck on the idea that it's a good thing since he was tired of being bullied and bossed around. 

He got his cutie mark in his late teens when his parents decided to move out of Clouds Dale out to Sunny Side Bay. Which was a 3-day trip back to ponyvillie. He hated that they moved but immediately took to the ocean and learned that surfing was one of the best things he could do in his life. 

His first big wave earned him his cutie mark. After finding something he Truley enjoyed doing Thunder becomes much happier and even starts to enjoy his family and works to take an interest in all of them. Especially his younger brother. 

Relationships

Rain Drop and Golden Comet are now his closest friends. He used to be extremely close to Fire Bolt, the only friend he at the time. Until the accident with Dusk Rise.

He cut of that friendship so fast. He vowed to himself he would never accept his friendship again. After he moved, he stayed in touch with Rain and Golden even though he saw them rarely. He made a lot of new friends by the bay and actually learned to just fully enjoy life. 

Thunder Chaser over all became closer to his family, his attitude changed into somepony completly different. Hes very close with his mom now and even more so with his brother who shares his passion in the ocean. 

Special/FunFacts

-After he moved to the ocean he took a deep interest in studying sea life and plants. 

-He finds himself a job in competing against other surfers. 

-He and his brother love to go look at coral reefs and study the life in the small pools.
