But Star Does it… (Patreon)

Critical looked at the young child. Holding a flower.

”I see Star do it with mom because she cares about mom, and I care about you.”

Critical couldn’t help but sigh, so young and innocent.

“So I guess I just thought that’s what ponies do?“  Sky slightly lowered the flower.

All of a sudden he heard laughing and he turned his ears to listen.

“Look at the prince! How ridiculous.“ Sky heard two ponies say.

”You think with a guard like that he would toughen up.“

”He is pretty  young, but look at Star! Man is she growing up smart. “

”Yeah sky seems a little lost in the world. Kinda dumb. Poor Critical. How embarrassing ,” the one laughed back under their breath.

Sky felt tears start to pile up as he dropped the flower.

Critical huffed angrily at the two ponies who where unaware they could hear them.

How dare they!

“I’m sorry I embarrassed you.”

Critical whipped around at Sky.

”No you didn’t! Those ponies are just jealous they can’t spend time with someone as caring. Don’t ever change that Sky.“

Critical picked up the flower and placed it on his head.

”Plus, they’re also jealous they can’t pull this off with my dashing good look.”

Sky was unsure but became happy once more when his loyal guard smiled.

Sky not really spending time with others didn’t exactly know ”social”  very well. Although he spent time with Dusk, it was always inside.

Critical taking him out made him see how “soft“ he was and he wasn’t sure how to act around others. And no body was going to stop Critical to keep Sky that way. Sure he worked Skys social up, but his kindness and loyalty he never wanted to break.

And in time Criticals work paid off.  Most of Ponyville loved Sky to bits. Just how it should be!

thought of a cute scene where Sky hands his guard (made by Dead-Donkey on DA) a flower to show his kindness (from watching Star give a flower to Twilight and then her putting it in her hair) which throws Critical for loop slightly embarrassed by Sky. But immediately changed his attitude because if anyone is to make Sky sad, he will break your knees.
