I am not a hater on Diamond and Pearl. It is a very good series. But just remember two things when starting it: 1: be prepared for a lot of just not so good filler episodes. 2: The show didn’t really know what to do with team rocket, so if you don’t love team rocket, be prepared to get annoyed by them. Move animation wise this series is goated! The moves look absolutely amazing when used by pokemon! And that for a mid 2000 show. I am sorry to say that I wont be here to witness this show. (Financial issues) I promise to come back at the end of the series!

The Pokémon contest dawn is doing is actually the same contest Serena travels to do at the end of XYZ.
